No cheese, please.
This session was a breath of fresh air. Loved their adorable clothing choices. Such a fun and loving family. They braved the chilly, windy unpredictable TX weather and did wonderful. I have so many favorites from this session. These are the kind of interactions that I look for when I shoot family portraits. Real. Fun. Chaotic. Playful and no cheese, please. ;)

Brothers
These boys had lots of energy but I love it when I can capture moments like these. Have to include their lovely parents also.

Another Sister and a Brother
I've been getting some serious tanning while I'm shooting at the Dallas Arboretum even with my early morning shoots. Yup, you'll be seeing a lot more postings from this location. Seems to be the happening spot for famiy shoots right now. I think the bugs know me by name and I still seem to attract them even with the spray stuff on.
I had the opportunity to shoot another pair of brother and sister type shoot. Makes me jealous because my two brothers won't even let me snap a picture of them for my poor mom. Just like the plumber with the leaky faucets in his own home. Maybe one day they'll let me at it.
These two were extremely photogenic. You'll see what I mean.

A brother and a sister
I'm so amazed at how word of mouth works. Janice contacted me about getting some portraits for her grandchildren who would be visiting her from out of town. Her hair stylist had my card pinned up on his mirror who I've never met before (thank you for that). To make it short, I met his wife at a party back in 2004 and I had given her my business card. I just couldn't believe that anyone would still have my card. I just love how it all came to be that I had a chance to take some images of Janice's grandchildren while they were here. Aren't they beautiful? Lucky me.

All about flowers
This session was all about flowers. Little girls and flowers just make a great combination. I've shot Kendall several times last year. She just keeps getting bigger every time I see her. She did great with this hot Texas heat.
