A Tiny Two Week Old
I have been anticipating the day that I would photograph Kim and Ben's baby. I was so thrilled to hear that they were expecting. You see I have photograph Kim's family (her parents and her beautiful sisters), her very fun wedding (which I haven't blogged about yet), and now her new handsome newborn. Thanks so much for allowing me to capture all these special moments.
He is so tiny yet so strong and muscular. He even has man pecks. :) You can clearly see where he got his genes from.
Introducing James Daniel...

An All Indoor Shoot
Indoor shoots are nice. I get to enjoy the air conditioner and not have to fight with mosquitos. I don't sweat nearly as much as I do when I'm outdoor shooting (gross, I know).
I had the pleasure of shooting this adorable 2 month old and his family in their beautiful home.

Another Sister and a Brother
I've been getting some serious tanning while I'm shooting at the Dallas Arboretum even with my early morning shoots. Yup, you'll be seeing a lot more postings from this location. Seems to be the happening spot for famiy shoots right now. I think the bugs know me by name and I still seem to attract them even with the spray stuff on.
I had the opportunity to shoot another pair of brother and sister type shoot. Makes me jealous because my two brothers won't even let me snap a picture of them for my poor mom. Just like the plumber with the leaky faucets in his own home. Maybe one day they'll let me at it.
These two were extremely photogenic. You'll see what I mean.

A brother and a sister
I'm so amazed at how word of mouth works. Janice contacted me about getting some portraits for her grandchildren who would be visiting her from out of town. Her hair stylist had my card pinned up on his mirror who I've never met before (thank you for that). To make it short, I met his wife at a party back in 2004 and I had given her my business card. I just couldn't believe that anyone would still have my card. I just love how it all came to be that I had a chance to take some images of Janice's grandchildren while they were here. Aren't they beautiful? Lucky me.

A very intimate wedding
I recently photographed a small, intimate wedding ceremony. I was completely honored to be part of it. I had a chance to take some portraits of the love birds before they were wed. Rita picked the perfect place for the ceremony. Simply beautiful. Here are some of my favorites.
